Therapeutic Bodywork

Thai Massage

Thai Massage is always a full body treatment where the therapist presses up and down your body along the Sen lines using their palms, thumbs, forearms, legs, and feet. It typically works with compression - rhythmic pressing movements directed into muscle tissue and incorporates many yoga-like stretches.

Foot Zone Therapy

Foot Zone Therapy is a holistic approach which recognizes that all of the body’s cells and organs make up a complex and interactive organism. It is a practice of treating the physical, mental and emotional features of the body, by using precise massage techniques on the feet.

Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Through channel healing, practitioners detect energy blockages and alleviate problems of energy flow on the physical, emotional, and spiritual levels.

Lymphatic Drainage

The lymph system carries fluid, nutrients, and waste material between the body tissues and bloodstream. Harmful substances are removed from the body tissues and neutralized in the lymph nodes. A healthy lymph system is essential for fluid circulation and immune functions of the body.

Acutherapy

Acutherapy is a light, gentle touch therapy designed to relieve tension without massaging tissue. It utilizes neuromuscular anatomy, the body’s own reflex system, and the energies of the body to promote pain relief, help reduce stress, and aid in injury rehabilitation.

CranioSacral Therapy

CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle, light touch approach that releases tensions in the central nervous system by treating the membranes and cerebral spinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. This allows every other system in the body to relax, self-correct and free itself from discomfort.

Shiatsu Massage

Shiatsu Massage is a form of Japanese bodywork that involves manual pressure applied to specific points on the body in an attempt to amplify the body’s own ability to heal itself. Shiatsu techniques include acupressure, assisted stretching, joint mobilization and other manipulative therapies.

Touch for Health

Touch for Health uses muscle testing to identify imbalances in the body’s energy systems. Through muscle correction techniques, it activates the body’s innate healing powers and allows the body to heal itself.
